Zijn naam en achtergrond:Sheikh Naasir ibn Hamad ibn Humaym al-Fahd van de Faraahid van de Asaa’idah van de Rawaaqah van ‘Utaybah, wiens voorouders teruggaan tot de stam van Bani Sa’d ibn Bakr ibn Hawaazin van ‘Adnaan.
Zijn geboorte en opvoeding:Geboren in Riyaadh in de maand van Shawwaal 1388 [Corresponderend met Januari 1969] en hij is daar opgevoed. Hij is afgestudeerd aan de Imam Universiteit, College van Shari’ah in Riyaadh, in de maand Rajab 1412 [Corresponderend met Januari 1992] en hij werd aangesteld als decaan in de College van Usool ud Deen, departement van ‘Aqeedah en moderne ideologieën. Hij zette zijn werk voort totdat hij werd gearresteerd in de maand Rabee’ al-Awwal in 1415 [Corresponderend met Augustus 1994] en hij bleef gevangen tot de maand Rajab in 1418 [Corresponderend met November 1997] toen hij werd vrijgelaten en werd geschorst van de Universiteit.
